Choir for K12 with Liz Turner
Students will learn how to effectively use their voices to sing in a choir together in this live, interactive class.
Class is held weekly on Tuesdays, from October 6 - December 8. Class skips Thanksgiving week (November 24). 10 sessions altogether. All sessions are recorded so enrolled students may review their sessions, or make up for missed classes. Live attendance in the sessions for most of the classes is suggested.
Class is divided by age:
- 9 - 10 years old: 2:30-3:15 pm Eastern
- 11 - 13 years old: 3:30 - 4:15 pm Eastern
- 14 - 16 years old: 4:30 - 5:15 pm Eastern
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR, LIZ TURNER
Liz Turner has taught K12 General music and choir, in private and public schools in Boston and NYC, to kids of all needs and levels. She has taught online via Lessonface since winter of 2013. Liz has studied classical, jazz and musical theatre performance in the United States and in Europe. She is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston with a B.M in Voice, and starting in the Fall of 2015 will be attending Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain for a M.M in Contemporary Performance/Music Production.Liz's Teaching Page and Calendar | Liz's Personal Website

HOW IT WORKS
Students attend over the Lessonface high performing video conference platform. Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. The live sessions are recorded so that all enrolled students can review the class sessions following the live class, or make up classes that were missed. Class recordings will be available for viewing within 48 hours of the live class.
