About Classical Guitar for Beginners
Excited to learn guitar, but not sure where to start? Does picking out a melody line leave you craving a bigger sound? Do you enjoy fingerpicking chords but aren’t keen on singing along? Do you like the idea of playing ALL the parts to your favorite music in one concise guitar solo? If so, classical guitar could be the path for you. Join us as we learn a simple melody and fill it in step by step with a bass line and middle voices. We’ll give careful attention to smart left hand fingerings and proper right hand technique, so you’ll start building a solid foundation from day one. No music notation is involved in this class - we’ll learn by demonstration and TAB. It’s the perfect chance to try on classical guitar and see if it’s the style for you.

This online workshop can be accessed with a Lessonface Pass, which is $29/month, or for $20 for the workshop alone.

How It Works

I specialize in teaching flamenco compás, technique, and repertoire and in guiding classical guitarists in developing their technique, repertoire, sight-reading and interpretive skills.
