Kickstart Spanish for Teens Mini Course: Starts Oct. 28
This course is the little push you need to finally learn Spanish. Kickstart your Spanish with an instructor that has taught Spanish for 7+ years, has their PhD in Hispanic Languages and Cultures, and plenty of experience teaching new learners. Class sessions are lively, engaging, and full of practice. We'll be watching skill-level appropriate videos, and listening to audio recordings to help you comprehend Spanish. We'll practice pronunciation and speaking. By the end of the course, you should be able to begin conversation in Spanish and talk about your own interests and ask others about their interests.
Come prepared to talk! We'll be doing lots of conversational and listening activities to help you get a handle on speaking and understanding the Spanish language. Be prepared to complete homework and review guides before each session.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR JACOB PRICE
¡Hola! I'm Jacob, and I am excited to be your Spanish instructor. I have a BA and MA in Hispanic literatures and cultures and recently earned my PhD in Spanish Literatures and Cultures. I have 7+ years in higher education teaching experience, including 3+ years of private tutoring in Spanish. I have taught courses that range from Spanish 101 to advanced topics in literature and Latin American culture. I have worked with students from ages 10 - 60 and enjoy teaching them all.

The live classes will be held Mondays and Thursdays, starting Oct 28, and skipping Halloween: Oct 28, Nov 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 4:00-5:00pm ET
HOW IT WORKS
Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone. The live sessions are recorded so that all enrolled students can review the class sessions following the live class. Class recordings will be available for viewing within 48 hours of the live class. This live online class is capped at 8 students.
