About Sentro Addi: Advanced Circular Knitting Machine Techniques
Ready to take your Sentro/Addi circular knitting machine skills to a whole new level? Come join us in this class as we experiment with a variety of new techniques:
*panel knitting
*panels that don't curl
*different cast-on method
*lace patterns
*ravel cord with waste yarn
*purposeful drop stitches
Students may bring their own Sentro or Addi or use the instructor's during class. 48-pin Sentros may be purchased after class for $66.
The capacity for this class is 8 students.

Standard crafting kit: worsted weight tapestry needle, scissors, glasses if needed, paper and pen for taking notes

What skills or knowledge do students need to take this workshop?
Students should have completed a number of successful projects on a circular knitting machine.
This class will NOT teach how to use this machine. Instead, we will be exploring advanced techniques.
PREREQUISITES: Students who have never used a Sentro or Addi should first take at least the Intro to Sentro class. The fingerless mitts class would also be a good addition to give the student additional confidence and experience on the machine.

Amy Roberts Shelton
Amy Shelton is a fiber artist, instructor, and crochet designer. For the last eight years, she has owned SPARKLE Studio, a working and teaching fiber arts studio and local yarn shop located at the historic Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment in Huntsville, AL. She is an expert crocheter who has been crocheting since the age of 9.
