About Singing with Ukulele
Students will learn to accompany themselves singing with the ukulele. Students will learn technical exercises and folk songs to get them singing and playing ukulele together. Students will also learn foundational music skills such as steady beat, basic rhythms, melodies, and chords.Throughout the course, students will work towards playing a full length song.
*Students should have some basic experience with both singing and playing the ukulele separately.
Outcome #1: Students will be able to perform basic warm-ups and exercises for both voice and ukulele.
Outcome #2: Students will be able to demonstrate foundational skills such as steady beat, basic rhythms, melody, chord shapes and chord progressions.
Outcome #3: Students will be able to sing songs while playing the ukulele.
How It Works
Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with microphone. The live sessions are recorded so that all enrolled students can review the class sessions following the live class. Class recordings will be available for viewing within 48 hours of the live class. The class is covered by the Lessonface Guarantee.

ABOUT CHANTAL KUEGLE
Chantal loves working with both, beginner students and veteran musicians. She is highly skilled at helping students find and fine-tune their singing voice and musicianship. Chantal is a classically trained singer from Canada. She has over 10 years experience teaching private music lessons and is currently teaching and developing a music program at an International Primary School in Cambodia. Chantal received a Bachelor's Degree in classical singing from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. She toured Hungary, Serbia, and Montenegro with the University Choir. She has performed with companies such as, the Manitoba Opera, the Manitoba Underground Opera, and the University of Manitoba Opera Theatre. Chantal has recorded one EP and two full-length country albums in Nashville, Tennessee with Grammy-nominated producer Kent Wells; who has produced Dolly Parton and other well-known artists.
