Storytelling with the Harp Camp

Tune in each week with your young children for an engaging and interactive camp that encourages them to use their imagination and tell stories with music.

Professional harpist and educator Melanie Mashner will share a children's story, then a musical selection on the harp to go with that story.

Children will have the chance to learn about the harp and ask questions up close- a unique and exciting opportunity.

Then, we will work together as children learn to write their own stories with whatever musical instrument they choose. Interactive, relaxing, and engaging for young children during the summer weeks.

No materials or prior musical experience required.

Students Say

Melanie Masher is a fantastic harp teacher. I get so much out of her lessons. Her attention to detail is impressive. Her explanations are very clear and on point. She looks at my posture, the tone quality and provides feedback during the entire time. She gives me exercises and songs to improve the skills I am working on. She is also very kind and encouraging. She was recommended to me and I highly recommend her for harp lessons.
