Verbal Section for the Dec. SAT: Starts Nov. 11
The course focuses on the SAT Verbal section. This group course is designed to prepare you for the SAT verbal section. The course will be collaborative and engaging, providing the tools and analytical skills needed to be successful on the exam. Students will closely examine the various questions and passages found in this section and set personal and measurable goals for success.
ABOUT THE TEACHER JULIE STAVROPOULOS
Julie has worked as a certified high school English educator in NYC for the last four years. She received her Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Rhetoric from Binghamton University and a Master's from Hunter College in Adolescent English Education. She has expertise in preparing students to become college-ready and master the skills necessary to succeed in major assessments. In the past, she was an academic advisor with the City University of New York. She has a deep understanding of the obstacles, knowledge, resources, skills, and plans that are needed to succeed in college.

WHEN
The class will be held over six live sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8 pm ET starting November 11 through November 27.
HOW IT WORKS
Students can connect to the online platform using a tablet or computer with reliable internet. To actively participate online students also need a webcam with a microphone. The live sessions are recorded so that all enrolled students can review the class sessions following the live class. Class recordings will be available for viewing within 48 hours of the live class. This live online class is capped at 20 students.
