About Beginning Bluegrass Guitar Vol. 1
This course is designed to give you all the tools you need to prepare you for playing bluegrass guitar. Starting with some fundamental exercises to develop your flatpicking technique, you’ll learn how to play bluegrass accompaniment and lead, and how to apply those principals in popular bluegrass repertoire through video and PDF instruction. My hope is by the end of the lesson you have a good idea of how to approach new bluegrass tunes as you learn them and that you feel comfortable enough to play with others.

I've been performing and teaching guitar, banjo, and mandolin in the DC area and online since 2012. I play guitar and Banjo with the bluegrass band Cherry Blossom Special. In my own playing I've mostly pursued Bluegrass, classical and jazz but I love helping students reach their own goals regardless of style.
