Teach a Seminar

Lessonface seminars are intensive, one or two session classes, great for exploring an advanced-beginner, intermediate, or advanced topic with a small group.

Standard split for seminars is 70% of tuition to the teacher and 30% to Lessonface, which includes credit card processing, Zoom fees, and all of our other administrative and marketing support. Payment to the teacher is made on the Friday following the seminar.

More about Seminars

Seminars are ideal for a robust exploration of a focused topic, for leading into more lessons or classes or as a stand-alone experience. The default size is 30 students; we can cap enrollment lower or higher if preferred. To encourage teachers to create seminars at least two months in advance, and students to enroll in seminars early, creating momentum for the sessions and minimizing the possibility of cancellation, Lessonface may discount tuition for early enrollment. Unless agreed otherwise, the early enrollment discount will come out of Lessonface's share of the tuition. If there are not sufficient bookings within 5 business days the class start date, it may be canceled and students refunded.
