Sourdough Bagels with Sue Muldoon
Make sourdough bagels with a starter that will be sent to you before class (dehydrated) with instructions how to rehydrate and feed your starter ! (Don't worry, we'll have a yeasted version just in case)
We'll talk about mixing, proofing, adding flavors like jalapeno/cheddar, cranberry/walnut, asiago/garlic and lots more. I'll also send some recipes ahead of time for cream cheese spreads. And of course...boiling and baking!
Making bagels has been an important part of keeping my hands mobile since I spend so much time weaving. It's very therapeutic and also a delicious way to spend your time.

Sue Muldoon
Sue divides her time between 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional work. She bounces back and forth between photography, web design and graphic design to seatweaving (chair caning, wicker repair, rush, splint, etc.) and basket weaving. Basketry started as an add-on to seat weaving because there was material begging to be used in more than one format.
