About Adult Beginner Guitar: Build Your Skills Through Fun Songs
Whether you've recently started playing guitar or you’re returning to guitar after a pause, this fun, supportive class will help you build your skills by playing real songs from the very beginning.
Instead of focusing on drills alone, you'll strengthen your guitar fundamentals through enjoyable, beginner-friendly songs and practical exercises that make learning feel natural and fun. Each session introduces new chords, strumming patterns, rhythm techniques, or musical concepts that you can immediately apply to music you'll enjoy playing.
This class is perfect for students who have completed my Beginner Guitar Crash Course: Start Playing Songs Today! as well as anyone with a little beginner experience who wants to continue growing. Students should ideally already be comfortable holding their guitar and know a few basic open chords.
Throughout this class, you'll learn:
- New beginner-friendly chords and chord progressions
- Additional strumming patterns and rhythm techniques
- How to make smoother, faster chord changes
- Simple tips for practicing efficiently at home
- Fun songs that reinforce each new skill
By the end of the series, you'll play a wider variety of songs, feel more confident with your guitar, and have the skills and practice strategies to continue learning on your own.
The capacity for this class is 12 students.
