About Needle Felting for Beginners

Ever wanted to learn how to needle felt? In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of felting by making a little figure like a penguin, bird or ladybug. Students will learn how to safely create a shape, add color and contour. Felters with some experience can choose to expand their skills .
The felting needles are VERY sharp so children should be at least 8 years old (with adult) and 10 if they will not have an adult buddy.

The capacity for this class is 12 students.

Beth Collier has been spinning and felting for over 20 years. Beth does a variety of fiber arts including felting, spinning and bobbin lace. Her business, The Little Shop of Fibers sells Kromski Products, felting supplies, bobbin lace supplies and Shetland wool and yarn. When not spinning or felting she enjoys gardening and her grandchildren. thelittleshopoffibers@gmail.
