Summer and Winter in Fiberworks
About Summer and Winter in Fiberworks
Summer and Winter is a block method of designing and weaving, and the basics of it will be explained to you so that you can work out your designs and drawdowns on four shafts in Fiberworks. You will be invited to make your own designs for homework. If you wish, you can even weave samples between classes to integrate the material.
The capacity for this class is 20 students.
Class Materials
- Fiberworks Bronze or higher (for Windows or Mac) (or other software, but I won't be able to direct them to this one). This makes it easy to save and share your files.

- Please note that I will be using Fiberworks Silver for Windows during the course demonstrations. For Mac users, the course notes will indicate which menus to use.
