Quilt As You Go: The Potholder Method

Quilt As You Go: The Potholder Method with "Dawn, The Stitching Coach"

Struggling to assemble a bed-size quilt without a longarm quilting machine? Can't decide on which quilt motif to use to finish your quilt? Intimidated by free motion quilting? Why not try the quilt as you go method known as Potholder Quilting.

In this two-day workshop, students will learn how to make four "mini quilts" then sew them together to form a finished wall hanging. Skills learned in this class can be used to make larger quilted items such as bed quilts.

This small group class is presented in collaboration with John C. Campbell Folk School and Lessonface. Students are invited to attend an optional Orientation and Closing Ceremony to connect with various online Folk School classes.
