From Four to Eight and More
About From Four to Eight and More
Most four-shaft structures can be expanded to eight shafts or more, but the strategies are different depending on the specific weave. We will discuss the strategy for the various group of weaves, the exceptions to the strategies and the chameleon nature of some weaves as we expand them to more shafts.
It is possible to obtain a variety of threadings and treadlings for just about any number of shafts. However, if we expand a four-shaft weave to more, it allows to understand the similarities and differences among structures and how to design with them.
The capacity for this class is 25 students.
