Meet Vanessta Spark, Math Tutor and SAT Prep Course Teacher

Have you heard of the saying “What you put in is what you get out”?

I believe students who are able to overcome challenging obstacles in their life with the strength and support of their families, tutors, and teachers are much more empowered to conquer their fears and thrive in their future.

My name is Vanessta Spark and I’ve been a teacher and tutor for over 30 years. I’ve helped thousands of students to succeed in their preparation for college and I know how difficult it is when a student falls behind in their courses. I believe that getting help early and often is the key to success when learning math. I help identify learning gaps, close those gaps, and develop a math mindset.

In preparation for the Math SAT, I can help you with a study plan so that you put in efficient and organized time.

Please join me on October 15th for an SAT Math prep course that includes foundation review, practice, and test-taking strategies. We will use the College Board’s Official SAT practice tests and structure to focus on key areas no matter when you take the test. Vanessta Spark earned her MA in Curriculum and Instruction, BS in Mathematics, Minnesota and Arizona teaching licenses, Former District Director at AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination, a college readiness system to prepare students for college).

Vanessta creates customized plans to meet the goals of students and designs lessons and classes to give a quick refresher of challenging content, and also identify and reinforce prerequisite skills before a teacher has taught a lesson and helps students with homework.
