Student Stories: 6-Year-Old Evangeline's Five Month Progress on Violin

Violin lessons for kids

We love to celebrate the accomplishments of our Lessonface students, especially since helping students achieve their goals is one of our guiding principles. In this video, we get to applaud what 6-year-old Evangeline has achieved in just five months of studying the violin with Lessonface teacher Jason DePue.

Marina, Evangeline's mother, shared with us: "I believe that Lessonface delivered more than just online sessions, it connected thousands of talented people through the pandemic times, and built many bridges into the future of art. For my daughter it was essential having her lessons with one of the best musicians around, and pursuing her dreams."

Evangeline’s dedication to her warmups and technical studies (such as Schradieck, Sevcik, Keyser, and Vamos) under the excellent instruction of Mr. DePue have brought her far in just a few months of study. Her dream is to perform onstage with an orchestra one day and with her natural talent and hard work, we’re excited to watch her grow as a violinist!
